Online registration for the Winter basketball program begins on Thursday, September 15th and runs through October for the House program.
TRAVEL. Those intending to try out for the Travel teams (except Boys 15 and under and Boys 18 and under) must register by midnight on October 1st so that they can be notified about tryout dates and locations. Those who did not sign up for Travel by October 1st can still try out for a Travel team if they attend at least 2 of the try out sessions for their age group and sign up for House by the 2nd session (if they are selected to a Travel team, we will switch their registration to Travel). Please note that those who are selected for a Travel team will have to pay an additional $35 Travel fee (to cover gym costs and the $5.50 County fee during the Fall season) plus the cost of any uniforms that they need to purchase. NOTE: The tryouts for Travel basketball have now been completed and players are being contacted. All those who signed up for Travel but did not make a Travel team will be moved automatically to the House program.
HOUSE (Grades 1-8): For the house program, regular registration for grades 1-8 will end at midnight on Sunday October 16. Beginning on October 17th, a $20 late fee will be assessed on all new registrants. In order to ensure placement on a team, you must register by no later than midnight on October 31st. Beginning November 1st, late registrants will only be placed on teams only if space permits in an individual league. The number of teams in each league will be determined based on the number of registrants as of November 1st at each age level.
HIGH SCHOOL PARTICIPANTS (HOUSE AND TRAVEL). The registration for boys and girls high school age participants (both Girls and Boys House and Boys Travel) will not close until midnight on Monday, November 28, which is 12 days from the last day of tryouts held by the local high schools for their freshman, JV and Varsity basketball teams.
WALK-IN REGISTRATION. A walk-in registration session for all grades (House and Travel) will take place on Saturday September 17th at Chantilly High School (cafeteria) from 10 am - 2 pm. This will be the only walk-registration session.
REGISTRATION FEES. The registration fee for grades 2-12 is $100 plus the $5.50 Fairfax County use fee, for a total of $105.50. The fee for grade 1 is $75.00 plus the $5.50 Fairfax County use fee for a total of $80.50. Note: As stated above, Travel players will have to pay an additional fee of $35.00 to cover Fall gym costs as well as any new uniform costs.
