What can I expect from the season?
Every team will practice at least one night a week, with most 10U teams and higher practicing two nights a week. Games will be held on Saturdays, with approximately 10 games per season. T-Ball and 8U teams will play against other CYA teams, while 10U and up will play both CYA teams and other league teams. Some travel may be required to play the other leagues. 
Starting Fall 2025, 10U and older will replace their second practice with an adidtional game beginning in October.

Where are practices and games?
T-Ball and 8U primarily practice at elementary schools like Greenbriar East, Greenbriar West, and Brookfield (closed for renovation).
10U practices at Franklin Middle, Greenbriar Park, and Brookfield Elementary (closed for renovation).
12U/14U/18U practices at Franklin Farm Park, Rachel Carson Middle, and Greenbriar Park.
Practice and game locations are subject to change from season to season due to the availability of fields due to school construction.

Are there playoff games and standings?
CYA doesn’t post standings or hold playoff games. Because teams aren’t formed through a draft, there can be noticeable differences in skill levels and key positions, like pitchers and catchers. Our main focus is on player development and providing a fun, supportive environment for girls of all abilities.
