Travel Soccer

CYA’s Travel Program offers competitive opportunities for all levels of travel soccer. Our teams compete in three Washington DC Metro area leagues: National Capital Soccer League (NCSL), Washington Area Girls Soccer (WAGS), and the Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL), and have won or been finalists in a variety of tournaments last spring and fall, including The Virginian, Jefferson Cup, YMS Columbus Cup, Bethesda, Cardinal Cup, WAGS, McLean Premiere, Dulles, and many others with some teams high ranked in the state and nationally.

Collectively, our coaches come from professional and collegiate soccer backgrounds from Europe, South America and the United States. All have years of coaching education, playing and coaching experience in competitive youth soccer.

CYA Soccer offers year round training with different levels of commitment to meet the needs of all of our teams. This includes professional training, travel leagues, tournaments, indoor soccer, clinics, etc to just name a few.

Training can take place year round as we have access to seven lighted turf fields throughout the playing year. This is more than any other local club!

CYA Panic

Dulles Tournament Champions

The U15G CYA Panic won the 2012 Dulles National Soccer Tournament hosted by Herndon Youth Soccer the weekend of August 25-26, 2012 with a 4-0-0 record. The girls scored 8 goals and only allowed 3 goals in their 4 games. In the final game, they defeated a strong and resilient DC Stoddert team. Congratulations girls on a well played tournament.

Did you know that U12s are playing 8 vs. 8 now?

NCSL, WAGS, and ODSL have all moved to 8 a side to encourage further player development. The three leagues require play with a 21 foot goal and at least a 50X75 yard field. Why play 8 instead of 11 on a side at U12? Click here to find out!
