CYA/SPI Future Star Spring Break Soccer Camp 2011!
Enhance your skill and tactical development over Spring Break!
 
The CYA/SPI Spring Break "Future Star" Soccer Camp is scheduled to begin Monday, April 18th 2011at the Word of Grace Athletic Field Complex. You will find directions to the training field by visiting the CYA website at www.chantillyyouth.org and clicking on “Field Directions”. This program will run Monday 4/18 thru Friday, 4/22.
 
SPI has worked closely with the CYA Soccer Board of Directors to design this program for players U7 through U12. The program is intended for all players who are interested in honing their skills, meeting new friends and having fun!! 
 
Players entering the basic proficiency stage of their development will be exposed to different age appropriate aspects and elements of the game such as:
 
·          Skill Development
·          Concept of “depth and width”
·          Maintaining shape
·          Basic introduction to positions within team structure
 
Conceptual knowledge of the game will be developed by the use of small-sided games and exercises. Skill development will continue to be the focus of these sessions as players learn ball control and basic forms of field play. Trainers are licensed instructors experts in the field of player development and will work as a “team” to teach your child different aspects of the game.
 
Players will receive a limited edition "Spring Break Training Shirt" to be worn during the program.  All players are required to wear appropriate training gear (shorts and shin guards). Please send your child to these sessions with plenty of water to last them the entire 90 minutes.

CYA Hosts the Second Annual SPI-AC Cesena Camp!
July 18th- 22nd, 2011

Program Name:A.C. Cesena Summer 2011 Youth Academy-Goal-Keeping Module

Program Description: 
This goal-keeping component of our A.C. Cesena Summer Youth Academy Program has been designed especially for our junior level goal-keepers (U9-U12) and our more advanced seniors (U13-U16).

The program implements European training methods utilized by high-level clubs around the world. The week long training camp with EUFA licensed coaches will address the technical, tactical and physical aspects for goal-keepers currently playing or aspiring to play this unique and specialized position.

Program Director:

Massimo “Max” Bonazza- is a former professional player from Italy with over 25 years playing experience. He has spent the majority of his playing career with Ravenna Calcio and currently the Youth Goal-Keeping Coach for A.C. Cesena. Max holds a prestigious UEFA “B” License and is the SPI Director of Goal-Keeping Programs.

-Cost: Individual $195 Sibling $165 (Must have sibling registered in Cesena Academy)

Program Name:A.C. Cesena Summer 2011 Youth Academy-Competitive Module

Program Description:

This high-level program is part of the SPI-A.C. Cesena series designed to impact youth players entering (or currently in) the Competitive Proficiency Phase of their development. Players must currently be playing travel soccer in one of the premier leagues in the area (WAGS, NCSL or ODSL). EUFA “A” and “B” coaches from the A.C. Cesena Youth system will focus technical training and on-field problem solving as it relates to each individual and specific player position.

Program Director:

  • Enrico Casadei: has an educational background in Sports/Exercise Medicine and is a graduated from the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio as an FIGC instructor. Enrico is currently a staff instructor and youth coach with A.C. Cesena and a certified Coerver© instructor in Italy.

-Dates/Ages: July 18th-22nd U9-U12 (Boys/Girls)

-Training Time: 5PM-8PM

Program Name: A.C. Cesena Summer 2011 Youth Academy-Advanced Module

Program Description:

This professional level program is part of the SPI-A.C. Cesena series designed to impact senior level players entering (or currently in) the Advanced Proficiency Phase of their development. Players must currently be playing travel soccer in one of the premier leagues in the area (WAGS, NCSL or ODSL) at division one or two level. EUFA “A” and “B” coaches from the A.C. Cesena Youth system will focus on planned, systematic improvements of overall team/individual performance.

Camp Specifics:

-Dates/Ages: July 18th-22nd U13-U14 (Boys/Girls)
 

-Location: Westfield High School-Chantilly

-Training Time: 9AM-12 Noon
 

-Cost: Individual $290  Sibling $260 (Must have sibling registered in Cesena Academy)
