CYA manages the athletic fields of the Word Of Grace Christian Center in Herndon, VA  http://www.wordofgracecc.org/ .  As many of you are aware, the availability of rectangular athletic fields in Fairfax County is at a premium.  CYA has taken on the responsibility and costs associated with managing these fields (Old Redskin Park).  In return, CYA expands the number of fields available to CYA sports groups and is allowed to sub-lease the fields, providing revenue to offset the lease and management costs.  With a lot of help from CYA volunteers, CYA may even be able to generate more revenue than is needed to offset the costs - perhaps enough to defray other costs associated with running our sports programs.

But there is a lot of work to be done to get this program off the ground and we need your help!  In addition to volunteers, we are seeking sports organizations that are interested in leasing time slots on these fields.  Please forward this message to anyone that you know that might be interested.
