CYA Basketball announces the continuation of its college scholarship program for 2008. CYA Basketball will once again offer four $1000 college scholarships for use by qualified seniors in the 2008-08 Academic Year at any college or university.  Of the four scholarship awards, at least one girl and one boy will be selected; the other two will be selected from all remaining qualified candidates.

To qualify, candidates must have played at least 2 seasons of CYA basketball during their middle and high school years and must have played a total of 3 seasons of basketball during their high school years (either for CYA or their HS team). Candidates must also have maintained at least a 3.0 average for all of their high school years.

Completed applications are due on May 1st and selection will be made by the Basketball board of directors by the end of the school year. Applications can be downloaded from this website or obtained from Cindy Aune (who chairs the selection committee) at the address below or by sending an email request to registrar@chantillyyouth.org. Completed applications should be mailed or hand-delivered to Cindy Aune at the same address.
